CBBH Photo Challenge – Simple Pleasures

My thanks go to Marianne at East of Málaga for this challenge. Marianne sets a monthly challenge so you can take as much of the month as needed to get  your selection of photographs together. I just loved this theme but I have to admit that selecting just a few simple pleasure was rather difficult for me as  I just revel in simplicity.  So I’ve cut my pleasures down to just four photographs. The first is the very beautiful sunrise that greeted me this morning.

My next is walking hand in hand with my husband on our early morning strolls taking the dogs for a walk. As can be seen by our rather battered walking shoes this is a simple pleasure that we indulge in every morning and evening for that matter.

How simple is this, I watched a feather floating on a slight breeze with the golds glinting in the sunlight for some time before turning my attention once again onto the more mundane aspects of life.

I revel in the changing aspects of the moon and notice it’s waxing and waning though out the month.

And now for another wonderful aspect of this challenge, Marianne asks each contributor to name two blogs so that more bloggers get their blogs noticed by others. I really enjoy doing this as there are just so many good blogs out there.

Here are my choices for this month.

My first one is Doodlemum her blog is a sketch a day about her family life ,warts and all.  I first came to know of her when I was watching breakfast TV and she and her children were being interviewed.  I jotted down the blog name and the rest as they (who on earth are they?) is history. My next blog is  by a lady called Sue  at A Word in Your Ear and she runs a photo challenge called A Word A Week Photography Challenge. This is how she explains it “Once a week I will dip into my old English Oxford dictionary and pick a word on the page that it falls open at.  The challenge is to post a photograph, poem, story – whatever the genre you like best to describe of what that word means to you”  So although is is shown as a photography challenge any genre will do.
